Abstract: Visual poem opposing the Vietnam War, signed by the author, consisting of a collage of words and images cut or torn from newspapers and magazines, glued on newsprint background and mounted on cardboard.
Description: Eugenio Miccini (1925-2007) was a poet and artist based in Florence, Italy, a leading figure of Italian visual poetry ("poesia visiva"), and a founder of the avant-garde collective Gruppo '70.
Formerly owned by the Ruth and Marvin Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry. Purchased from Sackner Limited Parnership on the Edwin J. Beinecke Book Fund, 2018.
