“Une cérémonie à Bandra (Bombay). Een plechtigheid te Bandra (Bombay).” Groups of girls and young women dressed in white are shown sitting in bleachers and standing in a yard outside a mission for a celebration, their first communion possibly. Other women are shown in separate bleachers and standing at the side of the group. Various religious banners are seen on high poles in the yard. The following information is printed on the back of the postcard: “Congrégation des Filles de la Croix de Liége. Congregatie de Dochters van het Kruis te Luik. Maison-mère - Moederhuis: rue Hors-Château, 49. Mission des Indes Orientales. Missie van Oost Indië. ” There is no handwriting on the back.
