"The marriage of Henry VI, the king in an embroidered robe with a halo about his head standing to the left holding the hand of his bride, Margaret of Anjou dressed in a long gown and cloak, a tiara on her head, a bishop officiating at the ceremony binding the couple's hands, male nobles and attendants standing behind the king and female maids standing behind the princess, Westminster Abbey beyond with statues of kings and saints, an arch supported by two columns to the foreground acting as a border."--British Museum online catalogue
