Abstract: An enormously fat gentleman, with a footman stationed at his rear, brandishes a whip as he drives his phaeton behind a pair of diminutive horses. The signpost behind him reads "to Salthill" with a mile marker on the right reading "XIX miles". A crest of a donkey's head adorns the side of the carriage
