Description: A photograph of the plaque dedicating the Farnam Building. It reads: This building has been erected by Mrs. Henry Farnam as a memorial to her son George Bronson Farnam, M.D. who faithfully served this hospital as attending physician and surgeon from 1873 to 1877 and through out off from professional activity during the remainder of his life by painful illness never ceased to further its interests and to minister to the sufferings of others. He was born Aug. 21, 1841 in New Haven where he died Dec. 22, 1886.
