Script: Written in a poorly formed humanistic script by a certain Benedictus.
Initials, 5- to 3-line, in red, at beginning of each satire; initials stroked in red, for first letter of each verse.
Binding: 18th-19th centuries. Vellum case, with "Satyre Iuvena Saphon Carmin M.S." on spine, in gold. - Provenance
- Bought from Rosenthal's in 1932 by Thomas E. Marston who presented it to Yale in 1936.
