Description
C. Landberg gave the author's name (from Shadharāt al-dhahab) as Alāʾ al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan ʻAlī ibn Muḥammad al-Baghdādī al-Ḥanbalī, d. A.H. 899, and the title as Fatḥ al-malik al-ʻazīz bi-sharḥ al-Wajīz (confusion with al-Rāfiʻī's commentary; cf. Berlin catalog, 4470). The explicit gives the author's name, and the date of completion, A.H. 887.
