Rebound in green morocco by Alfred Matthews; no bookplate and not in Manuscript Catalogue of 1763. Many marginal notes by Horace Walpole, chiefly on the pictures of Blenheim and Ditchley. (See Horace Walpole to Montagu, 19 July 1760.) Very probably it was this volume that led Horace Walpole to record in his Description 'Accounts of Blenheim...'. With Horace Walpole's architectural sketch in pencil on last flyleaf; the words "loggias, arcades, stairs, terrasses" are written above image.
