Description: In Latin.
Script: written in pre-Caroline minuscule, which Bischoff has dated to around 800 and attributed to southwestern Germany or eastern France.
Decoration: 1-line initials are in brown uncials; portions of a running title in brown uncials are preserved in the upper margins of both sides; punctuated with the punctus, punctus elevatus, punctus versus, and punctus interrogativus; a contemporary hand using darker ink has made corrections and altered some of the punctuation.
Provenance: This fragment was formerly part of a bifolium that was bound in the back of Lambach, Stiftsbibliothek, Cml XXVII; two other leaves from the same manuscript survive as Lambach Fragment 9.
