Manuscript, in a single secretary hand, of a daily account of bills, resolutions, committee appointments, and orders of the house. Entries record the appointment of a committee to inspect former Parliamentary acts regarding the militia and to bring in a bill to redress them; numerous bills and committees to discuss regulating the trade of silk throwing; the passing of a bill for the increase and preservation of timber in the forest of Deane; a petition on behalf of merchants concerning brandy; and a bill for further reilef and collecting of money due to the indigent. The manuscript also records numerous trials, including the impeachment of Sir William Penn for embezzlement of prize goods and a declaration of the guilt of "Mr. Brunkard" for bringing pretended orders from the king to Sir John Harman commanding the lowering of the sails in the engagement against the Dutch fleet in 1665
