Manuscript on paper, in a single bookhand, of twenty-four poems by Anne Wharton and one by Edmund Waller. Texts include "The Lamentations of Jeremiah" and other Biblical paraphrases, as well as paraphrases of poems by Ovid, Virgil and Boileau; "To Melpomene against complaint," "The Dispaire," "On the Earl of Rochester," and other original verse; and a copy of Waller's "Of Divine Poetry."
