Anonymous MS.
Collection of verse by various authors; on p. 100 is the signature of Dr. Thomas Apperley, Fellow of St. John's Oxford; most of the verses and epigrams were written by his contemporaries at Oxford; from the number of verses relating to Westminster School (some printed in Lusus Westmonasterienses, case 360) it is probable that the compiler was a former scholar there, possibly Thomas Holland (matric. Jesus College, Oxford, 1697), who contributed the greatest number of pieces to this collection; other authors include Anthony Alsop (d.1726), Samuel Wesley (1691-1739), Vincent Bourne (1695-1747), and Willis Titley
