By Erica Van Horn. Five painted and numbered booklets folded accordion style. In wooden box painted to look like a building made of wood; booklets are housed behind a hinged door with a velcro fastener. Refusing to believe it when the letter came. Slowly reading. Knowing. Weeping over weeks. In love with another? Pieces kept coming back. The letter tore my world. I wanted to tear the letter up. Even as the letter tore up my world, it gave me something for the re-building--Statement painted on the side of the box. Statement of responsibility and date from bottom of box. Title from top of box.
