Abstract: Manuscript on paper of prescriptions against various illnesses of horses, Latin and German benedictions for various illnesses and wounds, and a formulary for Latin letters and documents, mostly concerning ecclesiastical matters
Description: In German and Latin.
Script: copied by several hands very close to each other but of various sizes and various degrees of compression, writing Gothica Cursiva Libraria/Currens (Bastarda). No decoration.
Watermark: Bull's head, var. Briquet 14448 (1383-1386); Piccard, Ochsenkopf I, 191 and 195 (1385).
Binding: 20th century quarter binding: brown leather and marbled paper over cardboard. Marbled pastedowns.
Provenance: Purchased from Dr. Jörn Günther, Hamburg.
