Ketubah : Turkey?, 1909, June 4

Marriage contract, manuscript, ink and paint on paper, dated 15th of Sivan 5669 (1909). The text, written in very small Sephardic cursive hand, is enclosed by a floral frame. Above the text is a decorative floral square, which also contains blessings for the bride and groom. This ketubah has horizontal creases, which indicates that it was stored folded over many times. The text is difficult to read by non-specialists in Sephardic cursive.
