Entries include the Prologue to Cato by Alexander Pope (1688-1774), and the Epilogue to Cato by Sir Samuel Garth; a hymn by Joseph Addison; On Indifference, by Frances Anne (Greville) Crewe, lady Crewe and addressed to the Countess of Carlisle, as well as the Countess of Carlisle’s reply; a fable by John Gay; poems by Thomas Parnell and James Thomson; and various religious songs.
