Abstract: Depicts Henriette Caillaux being driven away in an automotobile by a chauffeur following her assassination of Gaston Calmette. The hood ornament is a pistol. Surrounding the car are eight portraits of principle actors in the case and her husband's entourage. Gaston Calmette was assassinated by Henriette Callaux because she feared that he would make public her affair with her current husband while still married to her first. She was acquitted in July 1914
