Ms. in Italian. 10 pages. An account of the earthquake which struck Aquila in the Abruzzi, on Jan. 14, 1703. Niccolo Caravita (1647-1717), a Neapolitan law professor, is famous for having written a work, Nullum ius Romani Pontificis in Regnum Neapolitanum, in which he proves the invalidity of Papal claims to the Kingdom of Naples.
