Abstract:
Drawing of the Armory at Strawberry Hill. On display in an alcove on the left is the armor of Francis I, to the right of which hangs the shield painted with the head of Perseus. Other armor and weapons are displayed on a wall near the center of the design. Two thin columns extend down from the ceiling with decorative arches formed between them. A stained glass window is visible on the back wall, and the ornate railing of a staircase is present in the left foreground. A quiver with arrows (?) hangs on the wall in the right foreground; various armorial shields and pieces of art also decorate the walls. A vase and a carved box sit on the floor

Abstract:
Watercolor drawing depicting some of the weapons kept by Horace Walpole in the Armory at Strawberry Hill. These weapons, which include spears and lances, are presented in two rows in the bottom part of the drawing. Above the weapons, in the upper left, is a depiction of a hand-shaped lock with fingers extended and the note "An old padlock open--" written below; immediately to the right is the same lock shown with fingers down and the note "and shut" written below. In the upper right corner is a depiction of a long-handled spoon with the note "A Roman ladle in the Library" written below it.

Abstract:
A view of the stairway at Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, looking up towards the Armory. The ornate railing of the staircase, each post of which is topped with a single antelope supporting a shield, is prominent in the foreground; its winding path up to the landing containing the Armory and further up to the next floor can be traced. On display on the back wall of the Armory is a cluster of weapons and armor, visible between two columns supporting decorative arches on the ceiling. A stained glass window is visible on the left wall of the Armory; armorial shields are seen above the doors to the right of the window. The walls are decorated with Gothic tracery; part of a quatrefoil window is visible at the top of the image
