Formerly owned by Nina Vasilieva and Solomon Shuster. Purchased from Ursus Rare Books Ltd. on the Frederick W. Hilles Fund, 2018., Iliazd, born Ilia Mikhailovich Zdanevich in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1894, was an avant-garde writer and typographer associated with Dada and Futurism. Iliazd studied in Saint Petersburg, Russia and worked as a journalist during World War I, before immigrating to France in 1921.
