Abstract:
"A doctor (left), grotesquely obese, stands in profile regarding with a satisfied smile his dead or dying patient, who leans back in an arm-chair with closed eyes. The patient, old and emaciated, wears night-cap and dressing-gown over breeches and stockings. Behind him are the curtains of his bed (right). At his side is a round table with a bowl, medicine-bottle, and a paper: 'Prescriptions, Bolus, Blisters'. On the ledge of a casement window is a close array of medicine-bottles. The doctor says: "My Dear Sir you look this Morning the Picture of health I have no doubt at my next visit I shall find you intirely cured of all your earthly infirmitys." He wears old-fashioned dress, with tricorne hat and gold-headed cane. A fat woman stands in the doorway (left), her hands clasped."--British Museum online catalogue

Abstract:
A satire of a Gretna Green marriage, taking place in front of smithy's shop. Erskine, disguised in woman's dress with a huge feathered bonnet over a barrister's wig, holds the right hand of a demure-looking woman, modishly dressed and apparently pregnant. He holds a paper: 'Breach of Promise'. With them are three young children. The smith wears Highland dress; he holds a red-hot bar on the anvil and raises his hammer, saying, "I shall make a good thing of this Piece at last." Erskine says: "I have bother'd the Courts in London many times, I'll now try my hand at the Scotch Bar--as to Miss C-- she may do her worst since I have got my Letters back." The woman says: "Now who dare say, Blacks the White of my Eye." In the background (right) a young woman rushes down a slope towards the smithy, shouting, "Oh Stop Stop Stop, false Man, I will yet seek redress tho you have got back your letters--" Beside her is a sign-post pointing 'To Gretna Green'. A little boy with Erskine's features, wearing tartan trousers, stands on tip-toe to watch the smith; on the ground beside him is a toy (or emblem), a cock on a pair of breeches. A little girl stands by her mother nursing a doll fashionably dressed as a woman, but with Erskine's profile. Another boy with a toy horse on a string stands in back view watching 'Miss C'. Behind the smith is the furnace; on the wall hang many rings: 'Rings to fit all Hands.'

Abstract:
In a crowded tavern before a large roaring fire, Dr. Syntax sits on a bench smoking his pipe as he engages in debate with three companions. A man leans over the back of the bench and blows a large cloud of smoke into the back of Dr. Syntax's head. The room is filled with military personnel who frolic and flirt with pretty girls; the barmaid stands at the bar pouring wine. Everyone has a full glass at hand. The signs on either side of a large clock read "Real Yorkshie stinco" and "No trust here".

Abstract:
Satirical arms with a donkey as the crest, an owl wearing a cap on its back. The donkey stands upon a "Log" which rests upon a "Bible", a paper marked "Address", and a "Liturgy Petition" with a cross on it. The shield contains various images, including three warships, a tankard of beer, military tents next to cannons, and a ram. Hops and barley (or another grain) are present on either side of shield, akin to supporters. Latin mottos are contained within ribbons at the bottom, and read "furiis in censa feror" and "vir tutis sub umbra viti um."

Abstract:
"George IV sits on the throne, surrounded by kneeling women; he takes the hand of Lady Conyngham, who proffers their address: "Loyal Address of the Married Ladies." She says: "We the humble and Loyal Married Ladies feel ourselves bound in due veneration to your most sacred person to present to you our sincere thanks for the many tokens of Love we the Loyal Married Ladies have laid under and we humbly acknowledge the favours our Husbands as [sic] experienced through the medium of us the Loyal Married Ladies!!!--" Behind her, a second lady, resembling Lady Hertford, looks startled. With them is a third, perhaps Mrs. Quentin. Behind the throne, which he clasps, stands Hertford (or Conyngham, cf. British Museum Satires No. 13847) holding a staff topped by antlers; he gapes at the speaker, saying, "I never heard a speech from a Lady so Cunning--." The King adds "Hum!" On his right stands Bloomfield, looking slyly sideways at his master. Both wear frilled muslin boudoir-caps. There is no dais, and on the right two grovelling women kiss, one the King's left foot, the other his thigh. A third kneels beside them. On the left is a black woman, who says: "God bless Massa he kiss his black servant in the kitchen at Brighton [see British Museum Satires No. 13208, &c.], my good Massa, make no distinction, Black or White, Massa Love'm all." On the extreme left is the profile of a noseless prostitute.
