A ballot box from the Yale Medical School with a slide top wooden box with elliptical cutout in cover. An included note from H. B. Ferris reads "Box used to collect ballots when voting whether students should receive the MD degree. Yale Medical School Faculty". Apparently the box was used when C. A. Lindsley, MD, was the dean.
