Brazer Wilsey, Serg't, Co. D, 4th N.Y. Vols., aged 30, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 12th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left shoulder, the ball fracturing the head of humerus. Wounded, April 2nd, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Resection of head of humerus, by a straight incision through the long diameter of the deltoid muscle and about four inches of shaft removed. Operation performed on the field, April 2nd, 1865. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were tolerably good. Charles Cunard, Corp'l Co. A, 7th N.Y. Vols., aged 23, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 19th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left leg, middle third, injuring soft parts. Wounded April 7th, 1865, at the battle of Batchelor's Home, Va. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Charles E. Barnard, 1st Sergt, Co. F., 57th Mass. Vols., age 23, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, April 2nd 1865, with gunshot flesh wound. The ball entered a little to the right of the first dorsal vertebra, and emerged at the left side of the neck. The wound was received near Petersburg, Va., March 25th 1865. The missile was supposed to be the conoidal ball. The patient did well and was transferred North, April 8, 1865., Charles E. Barnard., Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number, 20,300., R. Gen'l Hospital, April 12th,1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left arm, extent of injury unknown, also of gun shot wound of back, the ball entering at inferior angle of scapula, making its exit near spine, injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 2nd, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Amputation of left arm, upper third, antero-posterior flaps, on the field. Date of operation and name of operator unknown. The ball striking on the external aspect and lodging in the superficial fascia wound, received before Petersburg April 2nd 1865.
