- "The Queen stands beside the King, taking his arm; he drives away and kicks Lady Conyngham, who is surrounded by four other fugitives. He says: "Out ye Harlots--for such as you Kings have come to beggary--for such as you Kings have been Idolist [sic]--for such as you Kings have been Adulterers;--yea even lost their crowns!--God save the Queen--." Lady Conyngham answers, weeping, "Ah G--ge there was a time you did not use me thus--when you call'd me your Cunning -one." One of the women has fallen prone; she exclaims: "O how hath the mighty fallen." On the extreme right and next the Queen stands a bishop with a drink-blotched profile. He reads from a book: "Thou shalt not commit Adultery.--Put no faith in a woman that is wife to another; for she who is not constant to her husband will never be so to you,--for she who hath her husband to deceive every day, can deceive a gallant at leisure!"."--British Museum online catalogue

- "A counterblast to British Museum Satires No. 14110, and an imitation of its manner, in the guise of a companion plate. As in that plate, a zebra with a man's head stands in an oval bandbox, but in profile to the right. The head is (presumably) Lord Conyngham; the creature is grey, scraggy rather than plump as before, and with much longer (ass's) ears. On it sits Lord Francis Conyngham; in place of the Queen's bandbox is a larger box, torn to show that it contains fur, and inscribed 'Lady Eliza[beth's] Muff Box'; this covers the rider from chest to thigh. In his right hand is a rolled document: 'Bishop [of Londo]n's golden rule Kings can do no wrong' [see British Museum Satires No. 14133]. The zebra's neck is encircled by necklaces of jewels; in place of the sieve in British Museum Satires No. 14110, a hand (the King's) from the right margin holds out a plate of jewels close to its voracious mouth. The lid of the bandbox in which it stands is inscribed 'Hertford [lightly scored through] Cunningham' [see British Museum Satires No. 13847]. The box, which is patterned with roses, is full of papers: 'Essays by exalted writers bought by the Pall Mall Booksell[er]'; 'Croker Poetical Slanders'; 'Malicious Anecdotes for John Bull', and a newspaper headed 'John Bull Sunday Mag . . .' Wellington is shown in the uniform of a Life Guards officer riding his charger over little men made of large wigs -- judges' wigs, barristers' wigs, bag-wigs -- as they flee in confusion. One clings to the strap around Wellington's arm, crying "Hold tight Huskey" (Huskisson). George IV stands in the background, hands on his hips, laughing at the scene

- Print shows George IV, "a conning stoker," of some "Mischief brewing," stirring up the "Flames of Persecution," with "vengeance," saying, "If this trial fail I'l brew no more." Behind him is a vat "Filthy composition" into which flows "a pure stream to expose the secrets" which spills on a couple in an embrace, "How do you like it - non mi Ricordo." Passing an open door is Caroline, "The brewers wife." On the right are three men, one says, "Be just in all your dealings." Another, holding a pitcher labeled "a trial" says, "I can't swallow this, it is all froth." The third says, "I wonder at our commander engaging in such a business."

- "George IV stands on the doorstep of a London house, his hat under his arm. Lord Conyngham, standing beside him, and bowing low, motions him towards the open door. The King asks: Is your Wife at Home, holding up his right hand so that the fingers simulate horns above the Marquis's head. The latter, who wears a court suit, answers: At your Service! Lady Conyngham peeps from a ground-floor window, saying, He's coming 'pon my Honour. John Bull (right), a sturdy fellow in ill-fitting brown wig and gaiters, and with a heavy cudgel for walking-stick, walks towards them along the pavement. He registers astonishment, saying, Dash my Wig! A footman looks up from the area (left), saying, Cuckoo and holding up two fingers derisively. - "George IV, dressed as Henry VIII and with cavalry boots decorated with rosettes, sits on the throne (right), shrinking angrily from oxen wearing civic gowns who bow, presenting petitions. All the horns of the oxen are tipped with tiny caps resembling caps of Liberty; a slightly larger pair protects the prongs of a fork held up on the extreme left above the massed heads of the beasts. On this a placard is speared: 'Petitions from every Part of the World--(Hole's and Corner's excepted) to Dismiss the Ministers-- signed by upwards of 999,999--Millions of the Brute Creation.' The petitions of the four beasts in the front row are headed: 'Petition of Lord Mayor & Citizens of London to Dismiss Ministers'; 'Petitions from every part of England & Wales to Dismiss Ministers &c &c &c'; '. . . ions from every Part of Scotland to Dismiss Ministers &c &c &c'; 'Petitions from every part of Ireland . . . [ut supra]'. Hooves rise from cattle behind holding more petitions: 'from Europe'; 'From Asia'; 'from Africa'; 'from America'; 'from every Honest Man'. The canopied throne is raised on a dais of three steps, the footstool is a cushion supported on a (carved) elephant; but the King's feet are drawn back. His right hand is on his hip; he holds an oddly shaped sceptre in the left hand. The back of the throne is framed by carved mannikins with shackled hands and feet; a large crown rests on the heads of the two uppermost. The back of the canopy has a pattern of writhing serpents. Ministers, much caricatured, stand on the right and left of the dais. In the foreground (right) and on the King's left, Wellington, with the apron and steel of a butcher (as in British Museum Satires No. 13288), with gauntlet gloves and with a star on his tunic, holds a blood-stained battle-axe. Sidmouth, as Court-fool, sits in profile to the left on an apothecary's mortar, wearing a double-peaked fool's cap and a star, and holding a bladder which is his clyster-pipe. Behind is Eldon, scowling savagely and holding the mace and the Purse of the Great Seal. A bishop holding a crosier stands on either side of the throne, behind the Ministers. A staff supports an emblematical cask which a naked Bacchus bestrides. On the King's right is Liverpool, holding a tall staff to which a green bag is tied (see British Museum Satires No. 13735). Next him is Castlereagh, blandly sinister, holding a scourge, and with a bunch of keys hanging from his belt; he stares at the petitioners. A tiny Vansittart is beside him, in his Chancellor of the Exchequer's gown, with an 'X' on his breast above a chequered pattern, hung diamond-wise. Immensely fat and absurd beefeaters stand along the back of the room under quasi-Gothic windows of stained glass. All hold tridents and turn their eyes towards the petitioners, grinning grotesquely. Each window is centred by an escutcheon on which a decanter is the chief object. The upper part of each is filled by a design of three large peacock's feathers (see British Museum Satires No. 13299). The Gothic roof, caricaturing that at Carlton House (cf. British Museum Satires No. 11727), is filled with tracery in the form of antlers."--British Museum online catalogue

- "Heading to a printed broadside, a parody of Hamlet's soliloquy spoken by George IV, beginning 'To be or not to be? and ending 'I'd rather drink and revel here in secret, | Than fly | Where I might meet her face to face'. The King, much burlesqued, stands with legs astride on the boards of a theatre, framed by curtains patterned with grapes, bottles, glasses, crowns, and antlers. On the back-cloth are crude Chinese figures. He has a huge head, with heavy drink-blotched face crowned by the towering curls of his wig, and holds a full goblet and a bottle of Curaco. With an expression of calculating melancholy he meditates suicide, on account of 'The scorns and satire of an injur'd Nation', but fears to meet his wife's ghost."--British Museum online catalogue

The Archbishop, well characterized, stands beside him, holding his mitre, his right hand on the chair. On the King's right hand stands Londonderry (Castlereagh) in Garter robes; other peers stand behind him. All watch the antics of Canning, dressed in parti-coloured clothes as a merry-andrew or buffoon. He kneels on the dais at the King's feet, arms flung wide; at his feet is a high-crowned hat with a peacock's feather; on the back of his tunic are the letters M P and P C. He declaims: The delight of the Nation at the Celebration of your Majesty's Coronation, the Exultation throughout the Creation exceeds all Imagination. the Expectation to which the Anticipation of this Consumation has given occasion is beyond Contemplation; we offer the Oblation of our Congratulation, without Hesitation or Trepidation; no Tribulation can effect a Cessation of the Sensation which pervades every Station; no Situation in whatever Deprivation will utter an Execration for the Association are in Preparation to effect an Extirpation of all Defamation.
