"A man in old-fashioned (gold-laced) dress rides a velocipede in front of which on the pole is a seat with arms, for a passenger, occupied by an elderly woman with a cat on her knee. Behind her sits a monkey who stretches backwards to clutch the man by the nose, while a second monkey perched on the back of the machine tugs at his pigtail, and waves his victim's laced cocked hat. From the front of the pole, under the woman's seat, hangs a cage containing a parrot. A lap-dog tied to the back of the machine is dragged along in the dust. There is a landscape background.
