Abstract:: "Children on the sea-shore, with a background of cliffs and bathing-machines suggesting Brighton. In dress and manners they are tiny adults. His feet are also in the first position, as are those of a little boy in the doorway (right), one hand on the handle, bowing, or stooping, low.
