Description:
A view of the Dental College at West China Union University. One side of the dental college at West China Union University. There is a hedge around the buildings, and some trees. The roof of the building is designed in the Chinese fashion. and Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive.
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Diong-loh Kindergarten and Neighborhood Center immediately after construction. The building cost $2300 after going $500 over budget. It was funded by the American Board (Congregational) Mission. Sixty students were enrolled., and This photo is from the papers of Emily Susan Hartwell, who was an American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions missionary stationed in Foochow, Fukien from 1884.
A large building is surrounded by a fence and smaller buildings are in the background., Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., and The back of the postcard is blank and includes the caption: "Le dispensaire" ("The dispensary") and also includes information about the Catholic mission agency: "Institut des Soeurs de l'Enfant Jesus a Nivelles- Mission de Bafwabaka (Congo Belge)." and also information about the publisher: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
