Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. and The caption on the photograph says "Nan T'ang (South Cathedral)?" but it is more likely Wangfujing church. This is a view from the top of a building, within many roofs are visible in the foreground. A short distance away is a church/cathedral.

Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Ernest Forster, the photographer, was an American Episcopal missionary who stayed in Nanjing during the period of the Japanese occupation, 1937-1938., and The remains of the house and shop of these two brothers after the occupation of the city. They lived in the southern section of the city which was badly damaged by the fighting. Their old father died of fright when a Japanese soldier threatened him with a sword. March 17, 1938.

Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Ernest Forster, the photographer, was an American Episcopal missionary who stayed in Nanjing during the period of the Japanese occupation, 1937-1938., and View from the tower of St. Paul's Church of the ruins of our large Chinese residence building which was used to house a preaching hall, a reading room, a baby clinic, Sunday School classrooms, and living quarters for our Chinese workers. It was burned by Japanese troops on two occasions, about December 14, 1937 and January 26, 1938.

Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Ernest Forster, the photographer, was an American Episcopal missionary who stayed in Nanjing during the period of the Japanese occupation, 1937-1938., and War damage in the southern section of Nanking where most of the fighting in connection with the fall of the city took place. Picture taken March 17, 1938.
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. and Corner of a ward in M W H One section of an unknown ward. The bed are all occupied. A nurse is administering medicine to the patients, and another nurse is standing at the back of the room. There is a cart in the middle of the room.
Accra Gold Coast W. A. Ware House. A large open yard is depicted with a brick warehouse visible on the far and right hand sides. A few men stand in the yard., Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., and The back of the postcard has no handwriting. Printed at the edge of the correspondence section is "Copyright of Basel Mission Book depot, Accra, W.-Africa, No. 4."
Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and includes information about the publisher: "Ligue Nationale Pour La Protection de L'Enfance Noire Au Congo Belge- Envoyez votre adhesion a la Tresoriere, Mme M. Lescart- 52, rue Americaine, Bruxelles- Cotisation annuelle : 1 fr.; 5 fr.; 10 fr.", and Types de guerriers Bapotos. ("Types of Bapotos warriors.") There are six warriors posed outside with their shields in front of them and spears in their hands. The front of the postcard also contains: "Reproduction interdite CL Dr De-Valkeneer"
