Church primarily brick, with three Gothic stained glass windows behind altar. Screen dividing off left side pews starting halfway up the aisle. Certain sections of pews marked with signs in Chinese characters.

"British Legation Chapel picture taken by Ebenezer Murray ca. 1908" A view of the front of the chapel, the altar at front has two vases of flowers on it, candles, and a bible on a stand. On the back of this photograph the word "Anniversary" is written., Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., and This photo is from the papers of Emery Ward Ellis, a missionary serving the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in Tehchow, Shantung from 1904-1927.
