- In Latin., Script: copied by two hands, both writing Gothica Textualis Formata. Hand A copied ff. 1r-8v in bold script with little angularity and long ascenders and descenders; hand B copied all the other pages in Textus Semiquadratus in two sizes, with conspicable forking at the top of the ascenders, spurs, hairlines, a very short d and Southern German or Central European features such as the shape of the -orum and -arum abbreviations, the use of y for ii, etc. The texts on the inserted leaflets and some corrections are in Gothica Hybrida (Fractura)., Slips of parchment with additional texts have been inserted between ff. 18-19, 33-34, 35-36., Red rubrics and red stroking of majuscules. Red initials: 1-line versals, 2-line plain initials; art. 1 opens with a 4-line initial and features several 3-line initials, all of the same type as the other ones in the manuscript., and Binding: original, yellowish pigskin over bevelled wooden boards; both covers blind-tooled with frames of fillets and rolls. Spine blind-tooled with three raised bands. Remnants of two clasps attached to the rear board, with engraved brass catches (one partly preserved) on the front board. Yellow spine.

- Script: Copied in Northern Gothica Textualis Libraria. Art. 7 is written in the same script, but by a differnet hand, and in the15th century. Art. 8 and several other additions are written in Gothica Cursiva Libraria/Currens., Decoration: Yellow heightening of majuscules; red rubrics; underlinings and paragraph marks; alternately red and blue 1-line plain initials; 2-line (rarely 3-line) gold dentelle initials on a blue and/or red background with penwork; and several large foliate initials, anywhere between 4 and 8 lines, in the same colors, with decorative staff in the intercolumnary space or in the left margin. The lost first page of art. 2 possessed a large initial and full border in the same style. The 15th century addition has red rubrics and is decorated with 2-line red plain initials., Binding: 17th century undecorated brown sheepskin over cardboard, sewn on four double cords. - In Latin., Script: Copied by five hands in Gothica Hybrida Libraria: scribe A (Arnoldus Guetsen) copied ff. 1r-108v and 246r-268v; B copied f. 110r-v; C copied ff. 111r-206v; D copied ff. 207r-244v; and E copied f. 245r., Decoration: red rubrics, underlining and stroking of majuscules. Alternately red and blue versals; plain initials; and flourished initials or litterae duplices with penwork, which often takes the form of foliage. Gold initials with or without penwork are seen on ff. 111r-125v and 134r-141v. - In Latin., Watermarks: (1) Cardinal's hat, var. Briquet 3397 (1479-1494); (2) and (3) Bull's head, var. Briquet 15373 (1488-1501)., Script: the main part of the codex (ff. 1r-132v) is copied by a single scribe writing a bold and compressed small Gothica Semitextualis Libraria. Ff. 133r-143v and the two inserted leaves 24bis and 119bis are copied in a larger and less careful hand using the same type of script., Rubrics and underlining, versals and 2-line (3-line on f. 25r) plain initials, all in red. On f. 5r a 3-line initial at the opening of Psalm 1 is not executed. All decoration is missing on ff. 23v, 24bis r, 119bis r, f. 125v, line 12 to the bottom of f. 126r, ff. 137r-143v. On ff. 133r-136v there are rubrics (in pale red) but no initials. One decorated brass clasp attached to the rear board, with a decorated brass catch fixed with three nails to the front board. The binding is reinforced with a strip of parchment cut from a ca. 1100 missal (?), decorated with versals and plain initials in red and a 5-line Romanesque initial in red with blue tendrils on a liquid gold background.

- In Latin., Script: Written primarily by a single scribe in a small running script. Additions by several contemporary and later writers., Plain initials, 4- to 1-line, in red. Rubrics throughout., Portions of text, badly worn or trimmed, have been lost., and Binding: 15th-16th centuries. Resewn on two tapes. Wooden boards. Covered in dark brown calf, blind-tooled in a diamond pattern with indistinguishable ornaments within the diamonds and at their intersections. Traces of five round bosses, larger on lower board, metal corner pieces and a catch plate on the upper board. Rebacked, with leather formed in the shape of endbands in the turn-ins at head and tail of the spine and with a strap and pin (a modern nail?) fastening added.
