Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive., Dr. Richard and family British Baptist missionary Timothy Richard is shown with his wife and two daughters, the adults in Chinese dress., and Timothy Richard founded the Shantung mission of the Baptist Missionary Society in 1875. He was active in famine relief work in Shansi province from 1877-1887.
