- Typescript photocopy mock-up with autograph corrections and annotations. The notes describe text sources and other information about the poems, and instructions for typesetting the manuscript. Also includes a front cover and additional pages of front matter created by Berrigan. The cover incorporates a clipped image from a newspaper and drawings in red and black pen; the front matter includes a black and white photograph of Berrigan by an unidentified photographer. The front cover is, according to a note by Berrigan on the item, "accidentally on back upside down".

- The collection contains correspondence, photographs, writings, an address book, a newspaper clipping, and a bookmark relating to Natalie Barney collected by Joan Schenkar, Box 1 contains correspondence, photographs, a legal document, an address book, and a newspaper clipping. The correspondence is among Barney, Bettina Bergery, Berthe Cleyrergue, Laura Dreyfus-Barney, Marcelle Fauchier-Delavigne, Nadine Hwang, Janine Lahovany, André Rouveyre, and Crédit Suisse Berne, dated 1935-1973. The bulk of the correspondence consists of eighty-five letters from Barney to Cleyrergue, dated 1940-1968. The photographs depict several individuals, including Barney, Dolly Wilde, Valery Larbaud, Hwang, Eva Palmer, Mina Loy, Djuna Barnes, Antoinette Gentien, Renée Vivien, Laura Dreyfus-Barney, and Marie Laurencin. The legal document is a typescript copy of a page from an April 1918 voir dire, detailing the troubled marriage between Colette and Henry de Jouvenal. The newspaper clipping is an undated cartoon of the temple de l'amitié in Barney's garden. The leather-bound address book belonged to Barney and contains two cartes de visite, Box 2 contains a photographic portrait of Barney at age sixteen, and Box 3 contains a metal bookmark with a butterfly design that belonged to Barney

- The collection consists of a set of five bronze portrait plaques issued by the Grolier Club between 1892 and 1911 to commemorate American authors. The authors include: Nathaniel Hawthorne (1892, modeled by Désiré Ringel d'Illzach, 17.2 cm. in diameter, issued in an edition of 173 copies in bronze and 3 in silvered bronze); James Russell Lowell (1896, modeled by Charles Calverley, 17.5 cm. in diameter, issued in an edition of 372 copies in bronze and 3 in silvered bronze); Edgar Allan Poe (1909, modeled by Edith Woodman Burroughs, 18 cm. in diameter, issued in an edition of 277 in bronze and 3 in silver); Ralph Waldo Emerson (1909, modeled by Victor D. - Collection of correspondence, writings, and other papers growing out of Shawn's collaboration with Brooks on a collection of essays, Lulu in Hollywood (New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1982), about her life as a film actress. Correspondence features a large production file of approximately 130 letters between Brooks, Shawn, and others, including Brooks's agent Robert Lantz, Robert Gottlieb and others at Knopf, and Jean-Pierre Sicre. There are typescript drafts (or clean copies) of over a dozen essays by Brooks, originally published from the mid 1950s through late 1970s, and copies of writings by others. Brooks appears to have submitted the essays to Shawn; several essays also have corrections by Shawn.
