Knopf, 1982), about her life as a film actress. Deane Keller (1901-1992), American artist, academic, soldier, and preservationist. He earned a BA from Yale University in 1923 and a BFA from the Yale School of Fine Arts in 1926. Keller taught for forty years at the Yale School of Fine Arts, and during World War II was an officer with the Allied Forces's Monuments, Fine Arts and Archives Section., Norman Holmes Pearson (1909-1975, Yale 1932, 1941 PhD), professor of English and American Studies at Yale University and officer in the United States Office of Strategic Services during World War II. Pearson collaborated with Yale University Library curator Donald Gallup to develop the Yale Collection of American Literature, playing an instrumental role in the library's acquisition of the papers of H.
