In Latin., Script: Written mostly by one scribe, perhaps over a period of time, in a small gothic book hand with many abbreviations. Additions by slightly later hands in more or less formal script, e.g. ff. 1v, 3r-5v, 87v-105v., Initials (3-line), paragraph marks, underlining and strokes on 1-line capitals in red., and Binding: Date? Square, flush boards. Trimmed out turn-ins suggest a late date. Covered in vellum with contents and a compass-drawn circle on lower cover.

In Latin., Script: written in early gothic script (littera textualis)., and Decoration: each section from the Bible begins with a 2-line initial in red; the corresponding sections of the commentary begin with a 1-line red initial; other 1-line initials in both the text and the commentary are in black; the lemmata in the commentary are underlined with red; canon table numbers are written in black in the margins and are surrounded by red boxes; punctuated with the punctus; hyphenation is in the same ink as the text.

Running titles, headings in red. Plain initials, 3- to 2-line, alternate red and blue. Red and blue 1-line initials alternate in table of contents. Majuscules stroked with yellow. Remains of notes for rubricator., and Binding: Twentieth century, U.S.A. Half-bound in red goatskin with gold-tooled title on spine ("Martinus Polonus/ Chronicon/ MS c. 1300") and marbled paper sides. By the same binder as Marston MS 152.
