"A gouty and obese man (right) seated in a chair plays the 'cello. Both legs are swathed, the feet wrapped in slashed coverings; the right leg rests on a stool. The Devil (left), hat in hat, holds in a pair of tongs a cinder against the right knee. Bottles and glasses stand on a table. A pair of crutches lean against the chair. "A man (right) in shirt and breeches is being laced into stays by a shorter man who stands behind him. The taller man is knock-kneed and has some resemblance to the Duke of Grafton. On the ground is a chased goblet to which a label is attached, "Duplicate 5. 5. 0." The valet or stay-maker is dressed in the prevailing macaroni manner."--British Museum online catalogue

Print shows personifications of Europe, Africa, America, and Asia pointing their fingers at a blushing Britannia paying penance for corruption atop a stool of repentence along with Princess Caroline of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel; King George IV; Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool; Robert Stewart, 2nd Marquess of Londonderry (Lord Castlereagh); Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth; and Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington.
