Abstract:: An enormous weathercock, with a huge dice for the base, stands mounted on top of a roof of a large building. Above its four arms with compass points is a dice box and another dice on top of it. From this dice protrude the heads of Charles Fox on the left and Lord North on the right. To the spike above them attached is a card with the knave of hearts. Fox's head, with a long barbed arrow coming out of his mouth, looks towards 'E' commenting on the failure of the East India bill. North's face is oriented toward 'N.' A huge fox's brush comes out of his mouth instead of the boreal blow

Abstract:: On the left, Charles Fox, with one hand in his pocket as if searching for money, holds out with the other what may be a jaw bone of a donkey. He appears to be addressing the voters. To the right, Sam House holds a flag attached to an erect fox's tail, inscribed, "the intripid Fox," and reaches into his left pocket for ribbons for the election favors. A group of men on the right comes celebrating Fox's canvassing; one of them drinks from a tankard inscribed, "Sam House," a reference to House's publick house in Wardour Street where he kept open house for Fox's supporters

More men and women are pushing through the doorway on the right. In the back of the room, a band of musicians play their instruments. Through the window demonstrators care signs with political messages: "Liberty and property" and "Marry and multiply in spite of the devil and the ..." State with hatching lines throughout strengthened. The space where "the whole" was is in the inscription is now crossed out with lines. Dark areas on the surface of the overturned table are removed

More men and women are pushing through the doorway on the right. In the back of the room, a band of musicians play their instruments. Through the window demonstrators care signs with political messages: "Liberty and property" and "Marry and multiply in spite of the devil and the ..." In this state a cobweb has been introduced in the upper right corner of the window. The words "AND THE" in the sign on the street is imperfectly erased after "DEVIL".

Abstract:: "Scene in a country town with two newly-elected members of parliament (one a representation of George Bubb Doddington, the other visible only as a shadow on a distant wall) carried shoulder-high along the street, led by a blind and ragged fiddler and surrounded by a chaotic and disreputable crowd; two chimney boys sit on the church wall, a dancing-bear interferes with a donkey's load and is about to be clubbed by the driver, the one-legged bear-leader (dressed in sailor's clothes) is engaged in a fight with a man swinging a flail, a rifle slung over a monkey's shoulder discharges to the horror of a black serving woman, a sow and her piglets up-end a woman as they charge across the street, a soldier stripped to the waist for a boxing bout is taking tobacco from a wrapper; to right, dishes of food are being carried into an elegant house where victory is being celebrated."--British Museum online catalogue
