Decorative headpieces throughout. Some marginalia. Numerical markings at the beginning of each quire. Various illuminated pages throughout the text depicting the life and miracles of Mary., 1868-1913 (ff. 5r and passim) mention Emperor Menilek, 1868–1913; and f. 195v mentions Ras Mikael of Wollo, 1850–1918); the harags also indicate production in the Menilek scriptorium., and 1. The last of the miracles (ff. 193v–195v) is written in a different hand and dated in the time of “Our King Mika’el,” i.e., Ras Mikael of Wollo, 1850–1918.; 2.
