In 1752, she married Aaron Burr, Sr., a minister and founder of the College of New Jersey, with whom she had two children, Aaron Burr, Jr. and Sarah Burr Reeves. The family resided in Newark until 1756, and in Princeton thereafter., Gift of Marion Edwards Park and Edwards A. Park, 1925., Published as The Journal of Esther Edwards Burr, 1754-1757 (New Haven and London: Yale University Press, 1984)., Sarah Gill (1728-1771), also known by her maiden name Sarah Prince, was born in Boston to minister Thomas Prince and Deborah Denny.
