George III at table with the queen and seated between Lord and Lady Petre with nine other persons while a tall monk stands on the left saying grace. A crucifix and picture of a saint on the wall mark this as an anti-Catholic satire occasioned by the King's visit to Lord Petre in October of 1778 after the passing of the Catholic Relief Act.

"The Mameluke rides (right to left) an ill-drawn galloping horse, holding the rein in his teeth. In his right hand is a sabre, with the left he fires a pistol; at his back is a quiver of arrows. Another pistol is thrust through his sash, from which hangs a sheath holding a battle-axe. The horse is curiously flecked in a manner which resembles a leopard-skin under the saddle. "An adaptation in reverse of No. 7508 by Sayers. The Prince's head, set in a star which is the head of the comet, is as in No. 7508 except for the addition of a stock between the wings of the coat-collar. In the comet's tail the first profile head is that of Moira, replacing Sheridan who is in the second place, between and in front of Erskine and a partly concealed profile perhaps intended for Ponsonby. Next are the Duke of Norfolk and Lord Derby. Behind them are (?) Tierney and a good-looking military officer. Next come three Grenvilles abreast: Lord Temple between Lord Grenville (on his right) and the spectacled Buckingham. Behind them are Whitbread, holding up a frothing tankard of his 'Entire', and Lansdowne. Behind these are Grey, and (partly obscured) Lord Carlisle.
