A commentary on a work by Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and other medical treatises. It is not certain what books by Hippocrates the present manuscript covers and who is the commentator but it appears to deal with the whole field of medicine. It is divided into ten sections: 1. Cures and methods of treatment (folios: 1b-21b). 2. Treatment of swelling (folios: 21b-30b). 3. Kitāb Kāmil al-ṣināʻah al-ṭibbīyah (folios: 301b-70a) (A book by this title is attributed to ʻAlī ibn al-ʻAbbās al-Majūsī (active 10th century-11th century)). 4. Treatment of eye sores (folios: 71b-89a). 5. Treatment of small pox and measels (folios: 91a-124b). 6. Methods for treating each member of the body (folios: 125b-160b). 7. Avoiding epidemic diseases (folios: 161b-169a). 8. Preparing travelers on land and sea and equipping them with the necessary advice, caution and medicine (folios: 169b-172a). 9. Treatment of arthritis, gout, knee and hand pain, hip and spine pain, treating varicose veins, etc. (folios: 175b-188a). 10. The pharmacology of Ibn Māsawayh (Yūḥannā ibn Māsawayh, d. 857 or 858) and the pharmacology of Niqulāwus (Nicolaus Myrepsus, active 13th century) (folios: 189b-222a). The name of copyist and the place and date of copying are not mentioned, probably from the 18th century.
