Poem titles include Humility; Prayer; Against Censure; Praeludia Mortis; Of Atheisme; and The Carrector of A Drunkard. The volume also includes a political and satirical poem against Cromwell titled A Protector Discribed which declares, "He is A Thing which wee Protector Call, From whome the king of kings Protect us all."
