Wooden boards, slightly cut in at the fore-edge for two catches on the upper cover and covered in brown calf, blind-tooled in a curvilinear design, are probably early. On the colophon, the scribe identifies herself as a professed nun of the Order of Saint Bridget, and states that the work was completed on July 26, 1626.
