Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number 20,281, John H. Bowers, Corp'l, Co. E, 200th Pa. Vols., aged, 19, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 2nd, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right side, the ball entering at ninth rib passing upwards and making its exit over sixth rib, injuring soft parts. Wounded, March 26th, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Patient was doing well when transferred to U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, York, Pa., April 29th, 1865., John H. Bowers., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.
