Be sure and get their paper, 'The jubilee,' containing words and music to 'Steal away to Jesus,' given away without charge.", "They contributed over £30,000 with which they established Fisk University, for the education of the freed men, by the singing of the slave melodies or 'spirituals' peculiar to their race, during the days of slavery in America.", A poster, printed on cardboard, advertising a tour made by the Fisk University Jubilee Singers., Albumen photographic portrait of the eleven Jubilee Singers mounted; two holes with brass eyelets punched in top of poster., Blue tape affixed to back of poster., and Printed notice mounted on back of poster: Take notice. Please paste the date of the concert on the back at the bottom so as not to soil the front.
