Vols, age 18, admitted to Harewood U.S. General Hospital, April 19th 1865, from City Point, with shell wound of posterior, aspect of middle third of left thigh, received at Southside Rail Road Va., April 1st 1865. The treatment has been supporting with simple dressings to the wound. The progress has been favorable throughout. May 26, the patient is still in Hospital and doing well., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.
