Drawing of a small head in basalt of Jupiter Serapis wearing the modius, a flat-topped cylindrical headdress or crown. This small statue was purchased by Sir William Hamilton from the Barberini Collection at Rome, was later sold to the Duchess of Portland, and was then bought by Horace Walpole upon her death. It was kept in either the Beauclerk Closet or the Round Room at Strawberry Hill
