Scripts are entitled Harold Arlen's Blues Opera, dated "Nov. 1957," and Harold Arlen's Free and Easy, circa 1959. The Blues Opera, annotated in an unidentified hand, is "based on a play by Arne [sic] Bontemps & Countee Cullen" and both scripts acknowledge "lyrics by Johnny Mercer." Free and Easy is inscribed "Property of: Stanley Ross..."
