A coat of arms divided into portions with three scallop shells within. Surrounded by mantling, there are two cherubs on either side of the image. Below is the motto Nunquam Non Paratus.

"Mission Des Pères Blancs. - Ouargla [Wargla]. - Un jeu favori : le domino." Three boys sit cross-legged on the ground and play dominoes. There is a stone wall behind them. They are all wearing turbans. There is a handwritten note on the back of this postcard.
"Kinder des indischen Gärtners vom Pastoren seminar 'Gurusala' (Südindien)." Three children of a gardener pose for the camera in front of some small trees. The oldest is a boy, and the two younger children are a boy and a girl.
The son of the sultan is handed over by his father (right) to Cornwallis (left) with the British camp in the background. Soldiers flank Cornwallis; next to the Sultan is his other son and a servant(?).
