"Lutherska kyrkan I Madras [Chennai], S. Indien." This Lutheran Church has a large gate around it. Outside the gate are people walking and sitting down. There is also a horse and buggy in the road in front of the gate. This postcard was published by the Swedish Church Mission Board.

"Eglise de la mission à Abouri." A white Western style church is depicted with people standing on the landing outside the tower. A missionary and two acolytes are shown on the grounds near the corner of the building.
“Ligue Franciscaine des Missions – Franciskaansche Missien. 15, rue Vanderlinden, Schaerbeek. Congo. ̶ Intérieur de la chapelle de Sandoa. Binnenzicht der kapel van Sandoa.” The altar area of a mission church is depicted. There are white coverings on the altar and the rail. The brickwork on the wall behind the altar is decorated with two border patterns. There a several lines of handwriting in Dutch on the back.
“Redemptoristes ̶ Thysville – Congo. ̶ Boko. L’interieur de la Chapelle St. Joseph. Redemptoristen ̶ Thysstad – Kongo. Boko. Het inwendige der Kapel St. Jozef.” The nave of a small mission church is depicted with rows of benches. A large statue is shown above the altar. The caption and name of the publisher, “Photo De Lil-Schoker, Grammont.” are printed on the back of the postcard. There is no handwriting on the back.
