In Latin., Script: written in two sizes of Caroline minuscule, with a larger script for the lessons and prayers and a smaller script for the chants., and Decoration: 2-line initials in orange square capitals, but with round "D"; 1-line intials in brown rustic capitals frequently filled with orange; rubrics written in orange minuscule with uncial "M" and occasional rustic capitals; punctuated with punctus and punctus elevatus; chants on the recto have interlinear neumes in the St. Gall style.

In Latin., Script: copied by one hand in large but somewhat uneven Southern Gothica Textualis Formata (Rotunda) under Humanistic influence (uncial and half-uncial d). The orthography is very defective., Headings in red; alternately red and blue versals in the text; 2-line plain initials alternately red and blue; 2-line flourished initials in liquid gold with red penwork on ff. 2r, 16v and 19r. A 7-line initial of the same type and in the same colours at the beginning of the text., and Binding: 17th century (?), Italian. The quires are sewn without cords directly into the pasteboard cover, which itself is covered with blind-tooled goatskin. Marks of two pairs of ties.

Description:
In Latin., Script: original text and additions copied in extremely large Southern (Spanish) Gothica Textualis Formata (Textus Praescissus), with music notation in nota quadrata., Richly decorated with red rubrics and painted initials., and Binding: s. XVI: undecorated brown leather over heavy wooden boards, sewn on four double cords. On both covers four large engraved brass corner pieces and more centrally five smaller engraved brass bosses. The leather damaged and several metal pieces lost. On the front cover upside down large number "26" in white paint. On the rear cover four engraved brass catches for clasps (one both at the top and at the bottom edge, and two at the outer edge), and eight nails towards the top probably for fixing a fenestra with title label (now lost). Leather tabs partly with Spanish inscriptions pasted on the outer edges of the leaves.
